Applicants should possess a Higher Certificate, preferably in Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Public Health, Laboratory Techniques, or related disciplines. Those with Bachelor degree or higher would be advantageous. They should have at least 3 years’ laboratory work experience in any tertiary institution, R&D laboratory or relevant settings. Experiences in large scale sample storage and management, biological/biomedical sample handling, laboratory SOP development for users, inventory maintenance are highly desired. Experiences in biomedical research, core equipment operation, procurement in a laboratory setting, inventory maintenance, and chemical/biological waste handling are preferred.


They should also have good computer knowledge and IT skills, and a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). He/she is expected to work in a team, with self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and communication skills, high organization skills, and the ability to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively as a team, and willingness to learn new techniques.
